Senior Dental Care

The Needs of Seniors for their Dental Care
Just as needs for our bodies change as we age, so too, our teeth and gums have more specific needs. With regular check-ups we can take care of problems in the earliest stages.

Over time, fillings may crack or leak, allowing decay to set in. Certain medications reduce saliva flow, which is necessary for oral health. Teeth may have lost their luster due to years of drinking caffeine or smoking tobacco. And gum and root disease are frequent problems in seniors that require immediate attention. We continue to emphasize the importance of daily healthy nutrition and proper hygiene. If gums start to bleed or a tooth becomes loose, please contact us immediately.
